Once again this one had me till the last 30%. Especially after reading the author’s note at the end, I get what she was trying to do - but my goodness it was just too much all at once for the ending.

I wanted to like this so much more. I did like this so much until the last 20% of the book. It is unfathomable to me that I’m supposed to believe
Alexis AND Amy AND Kelly AND Briana are pregnant at the same time. What’s in the water in this place???
I liked the mental health representation and how this book handled chronic illness but at times it felt like inclusive language and situations were thrown in just to be checked off of some list.

Certainly dragged in some spots but this was fun and funny and entertaining as hell. Definitely looking forward to the inevitable sequel!!

Could use some more edits. The structure of the flash backs was clunky. The main couple’s chemistry is told more than it is felt. The real love story here is the female friendship.

Loved it so much but was just missing that special spark that makes me fall in love with an EmHen leading couple. Felt like I never really got to know them as individuals. Loved all of the banter and the side characters and the pacing was perfect.

This would have been a perfect five stars for me if some of the pop culture references weren’t just a touch too try-hard for my taste.
