I loved how it was written, not only explaining the concepts to the readers in a way that is easy to understand, but also giving instances of their usage with real life anecdotes.

This is a book I feel everyone, everywhere should read.

This is easily a 5-star book for me but nothing prepared me for
the major angst at the end of the book
. This is definitely a favourite now and I think I'm going to rewatch the movie for the 3rd time now lol

Honestly, I started out with no expectations. It was really intriguing and kinda amusing at the beginning but it got more chore-like and uninteresting as I read it. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy certain parts of the story. I did. However, the story got more and more overwhelming to the point where it was underwhelming. It also felt like the writer was doing too much, making it too fancy, trying to sound too deep.

It started out well and ended poorly. 2.25 stars is honestly the most I can give this book.

I took away .75 stars for the emotional damage. That's all I'm going to say.

I absolutely LOVED this book! Why did I relate so much to Maia's experiences??? Not to even mention how clearly and succinctly e was able to put eir thoughts and feelings (which also happen to be the same thoughts and feelings I've been having) into words. It's so so sooooo relatable. The storytelling, the art style, EVERYTHING. I was on the verge of tears at certain points throughout the story and I would've definitely cried if I wasn't in public surrounded by people 😂 Either way, I really loved this book and I plan to reread it at some point so I can take notes of all the books, media and concepts that e mentioned. Would recommend to just about anyone who's interested tbh lmao

I really enjoyed this story ngl. The beginning was pretty slow and it took foreverrrrr for them to get to the main point but yeah I still loved it. I particularly loved Elliot's story and character. I also loved how every single couple was a sapphic one (I later read about the story and found out that the exclusion of male characters was deliberate xD). And the mild angst got me ngl. I'm a sucker for queer stories,
especially the ones with good endings
.

I would've actually just dropped the story early due to the slow beginning (I took off some stars for that anyways) but a friend strongly recommended it to me, and someone else on this server said it was their fav graphic novel, so I took their words for it as stuck with the story. Definitely don't regret it :)

I. LOVED. IT. I loved it so muchhhhh. I decided to read this book ahead of the movie release because I had somehow never heard of it in my whole life and also because I'm just starting to get into queer books and media. I loved the story tbh. I walked in guessing that it would be angst for like 9-10 chapters and then cutesy romance towards the end but I was soooo wrong. Like I was able to predict about half the story but I'm not even going to lie, some of the stuff in the plot surprised me. This book really touched the part of me that still has hope and I don't think I can get over that anytime soon :)

I thoroughly hated this book. I walked into this book completely blind with 0 expectations or context of the story and the amount of family drama, lying, and secrets just straight up disgusted me. Also, what was that ending????
