lots of sex and not much else, it feels devoid of emotions. however, extremely readable.

I have complicated feelings about this book. Majority of it is things that is known to the public but added more depth. I’m not a royal watcher in the normal sense, I live in a Commonwealth country and am  republican, but I do consume a fair amount of royal content (more than a normal person).

The bias against Meghan Markle is clear to me, it’s not as bad as Revenge by Tom Bower, but it’s there. It paints Meghan as someone who is vindictive, vain and constantly searching for more fame (also, that she should’ve tried harder to be more liked, when we know it’s because of her skin), while painting Kate as the perfect (white) wife and future queen consort. (No mention of Will’s affair though). Also paints a sympathetic light of Camilla (I don’t mind her) and the steps she took to become more popular.

It’s quite easy to read, much like tabloids, it feels like your grandma telling you all the rumours she’s heard.

I think it’ll be interesting to see how this compares to Harry’s own memoir coming out.

well, where to start with this? the main character inserted herself into her celeb crushes life before he became famous, by pretending to like all the things he did. like that is psychopath behaviour. absolutely no sympathy for her when said celeb turns out to be a dick.
it’s completely surface level, the main character says she wants to do all these things now she has time but doesn’t do any of them.

not to mention she committed a CRIME and the celeb was pissed off, rightly so, but next chapter he’s completely fine with it? How is her connection with Ben so deep when she totally forgot about him for half of the book.

ARC GIVEN BY NETGALLEY FOR A HONEST REVIEW

Comparing Courtney’s first ‘poetry’ collection to this, there is a clear improvement, no more ‘poems’ that are made up of five words. Yet, I think it’s still very similar. Themes and writing style are still the same.
I do believe calling it a poetry collection is being generous, it’s not really poetry, it’s prose. most of the poems, rather than the solid blocks of words in a paragraph, are still a few sentences with line breaks added randomly.

If you enjoy Courtney’s previous work and if you like insta poetry, this would be suited for you.

ARC GIVEN BY NETGALLEY

It was a good poetry collection, the subject matter just wasn’t my taste. I’m not American so some things went over my head as well.

ARC GIVEN BY NETGALLEY
I found the start slow, it took me a few chapters to get into it. However by chapter four I was quickly devouring it.
I love this so much.
