This was very cute! Luca was such a sweetheart! I loved how willingly he was to help Catherine no matter how many family members he needed to get involved. This was definitely lighter on the romance but I still found it adorable.

I love magical realism so I knew I was going to enjoy this but the twist with Sal and Mrs. Hartman was not the one I was expecting!

The one thing I didn’t enjoy was how quickly Catherine judged Luca :( I had really hoped she wouldn’t just listen to her mom without explanation. But I did like how it ended and how she grew to accept her dad, Luca and the other performers at ArtSpace and embrace them more in her life/career!

I just started getting into watching F1 this year so I was excited for this one originally. I normally love when the FMC is in a male dominated field and doesn’t put up with any of their shit (this is one thing I can usually relate to) but this one fell a little flat for me.

From the beginning I found Phaedra insufferable.. She’s way too quick to judge someone and doesn’t seem to treat the people in her life very well. I had a little sympathy for her because of her dad but I really thought it was unnecessary for her to treat her friends that poorly most of the time. I also wasn’t a huge fan of Cosmin, he seemed like an okay guy but I wasn’t a fan of some of the things he said/thought.

Romance-wise, it didn’t really hit for me. It felt a little rushed and insta-love and I didn’t really connect or care much for them.

This book definitely discusses some tough topics so I recommend checking TWs first!

This book managed to combine two of my favorite movies/tv shows perfectly! I loved the 10 Things I Hate About You styled plot line.

I loved Evangeline’s character! I loved her love for animals, her attempting to save every one that came across her path (even the rats) brought a bit of lightheartedness to the story. I loved how Gage was willing to do anything for her (even run into a burning barn). Also Evangeline calling Huntington “Lord Cuntington” is one of the most iconic burns I’ve read in a romance.

I did adore Gage and Effie from the beginning, their banter was adorable! After their first interaction at the shelter, I was hooked. I haven’t read any other books by this author before but I loved how she wrote their interactions so I will be picking up the first two in the series!

This still remains my favorite hockey romance series ever! I loved Hayden in the first two books and was excited for this one after all the hints leading up to it.

I loved Darcy’s development throughout the book. I loved seeing her take the time to come out of her shell and express herself the way she wants. Her friendship with Hayden was so special, I’m glad we were able to see how their friendship developed a bit in college and how both of them tried putting their friendship first. I also loved her friendship with Georgia!! I’m very excited to see how her and Alexei’s book plays out.

I adored Hayden. Their banter and friendship was adorable. I loved how much he cared for Darcy and her being happy in life and her career and his support for her women in STEM events/scholarships.

I cannot wait for Georgia and Alexei’s book! The ending had my jaw on the floor and I need it soon!!

I ADORED THIS. This is the perfect fall book! Julie Olivia managed to paint a perfect picture of Copper Run that made me feel like I was living in it.

This book just felt like a warm hug. I loved the small town vibes. Cliff and Michelle were perfect and even though this was more of a slow burn, you could feel their chemistry through all of their interactions. Brittany and Emily were adorable and I loved their relationship with their dad and seeing their friendship with Michelle develop.

This book is perfect if you love 90s rom-coms and Gilmore Girls!

I genuinely think Julie Olivia’s writing gets better with each book. I’ve loved each one I’ve read more and more and this one might be my favorite so far.
