Really, really biased opinion - but this book holds a very special place in my heart. i will recommend and talk about this book to everyone and anyone. No other book is able to bring me back to my childhood, follow the events of my adolescence as well as my journey into adulthood. Reading this feels like reading a book of my own life. Beautiful and will aways be cherished in my heart till the end of my days.

Really nice read - very Georgian, gives a good insight on what life in Georgia is like. Read it in English to see if i could recommend to friends who want to know more about Georgia, i’ll read it in Georgian next.

Just a funky story. Nothing more nothing less. didnt enjoy the one unnecessarily racist bit, explained by the book being written in 1880. mum gave me this book before i came back to the UK and i realised this is the first book she read when she moved to Cardiff Uni and before she met my dad who lived in Culham at the time and Abingdon oxford and culham are all mentioned here!!! So cute so invisible string theory coded
