Unfortunately, there was zero chemistry between the FMC and the MMC and the MMC severely lacked personality or any likable characteristics. The story was slow, with most of the interesting parts happening in the last 20% of the book (which is why I decided to stick it out instead of DNF-ing). I liked the overall storyline I just think there’s a lot of other scenes that could have furthered the plot and made the chemistry between the MC’s more believable.
