I’ve listened to better anthologies by Christie, and while the narrator wasn’t bad, I prefer Suchet’s and Fraser’s Poirot portrayals. 

A very vibes-based book. The author did a great job describing the town of Sokcho and the feeling of being stuck, physically and mentally, but the characters themselves were lacking for me. 

I would recommend this book to any femme who needs help knowing their worth or are told by friends they “deserve better” (from partners/jobs/etc.).  While I’ve heard a lot of Afualo’s talking points before, her chapter on busting misogynistic myths was very thought-provoking. Her candid thoughts on feeling obligated to be a mother really hit home for me. I loved and appreciated Drew’s candor and humor throughout listening, and would recommend getting the audiobook if you pick this up.

A short and sweet comic about carving your own path and being the person you want to be, despite how others might view you. And I’ll read anything about queer cowboys!!!

Ren Strapp writes and draws the best characters that you’re dying to know their whole story. Can’t wait for more!!!!
