I can see how this would be too slow for some romance readers, but the slow build-up of the main characters' friendship was so lovely to me. It was refreshing to read a romance with older characters, and I could relate to both of them on various levels. There is some really great, important representation  to be found in the MMC, and the conversations around it were beautifully handled.

(I was expecting this to specifically talk about sensory challenges tbh; my bad for skimming the synopsis, I guess.)

I appreciated getting so many different perspectives, and there were several comics in here that were 5-star worthy. But this was a very messy reading experience tbh.

Doctor Who: The Daleks' Master Plan by Dennis Spooner, Terry Nation

I'm not going to give this a rating as it's not a book. But I will say that after having attempted to watch the reconstruction of this serial, I highly prefer this format. I was able to follow along fairly well, and Peter Purves (Steven) provided excellent narration.
