As someone who, like Ophelia, was a boy-crazy teenage girl who spent a lot of time questioning her sexuality, this book hit hard for me. It didn't end up going where I thought it would, but it was a beautiful ride.

This was so lovely. 🥲 The MCs had such a sweet, tender chemistry (with the added bonus of some surprisingly spicy scenes 😳). The big conflict at the end was a rare example of miscommunication being done well, and cleared up maturely  and compassionately.

The only thing that didn't totally work for me is that the main premise (basically, the MCs decide to Parent Trap their bosses, lol) was just a little too silly to fit the overall tone of the book.

The setup/gimmick of this little romance really didn't do it for me, and I didn't really feel the chemistry between the leads. But it was nice to get a glimpse into Reggie's life and see her defending her sister.

The constant film references were a tad much and things occasionally got a little too melodramatic, but other than that this was lovely. 🥲

The first 95% of the book just kind of plods along only for a big anti-climactic bang at the end. 🥱

Almost DNF'd this one a few times in the first couple hundred pages but I'm glad I stuck it out. Such a moving story with memorable characters and themes that are still infuriatingly relevant today.

The story is a little too cutesy for my tastes, but the artwork is absolutely gorgeous!
