The structure of the collection was quite interesting, it felt like a biography in poems with a heavy focus on the mother and on belonging to one culture or another. But the poems themselves didn't resonate with me, they were too specific for that I think plus I'm not fond of vulgarity in poems unless it adds to the poem - here I didn't feel it was necessary and in my opinion it didn't contribute anything of value.

I have mixed feelings about it, I was annoyed by all the bragging and upset at the frequency of weight loss examples but on the other hand I found it useful how he defined habits, anchors etc. It feels somehow more actionable than Atomic Habits although it's pretty much identical advice.

On the reread it's just as good as the first time, maybe even better since now I have much more context about Woolf's life and can appreciate how masterfully she is written.
