Handcuffs chaining her to a sterile hospital bed.
Weird occurrences that no one can explain.
No memories of who she is or what came before.

A modern take on a classic tale.

A light read that kept my attention from page one.

The Hunger Games meets The Tri-Wizard Tournament introduces The Queen’s Tournament.

This story is dark and beautiful and full of action and deceit.

The world building was phenomenal.

I am so glad I only have to wait a few more days for book 2!

It took about 200 pages for me to get GRABBED by this book.

Magic. Deceit. Ghosts. Mysteries.

At the end of the day, I’m looking forward to the next book!

Mind. Blown.

Book 2 in the Cyren Queen series had me on the edge of my seat.

The writing. The delivery.
The world building.
The scheming.
The revelations!

Be advised that this is a very short read; as in 128 pages.

LGBTQ+. Feminism. Multidimensional travel.

It’s a good story but I feel like it’s something I would have heard in one of my creative writing classes back in school.

I don’t think I’ll be following this series

It. Is. So. Slow.

This is much better paced than the first book!

The feelings I got from this story were epic.

I loved the convergence of past and present.

And continuing from the first book, the overall writing and world building was just stunning

I remembering this book being about something entirely different.

I do not live in a world of contemporary romances.

However……..

I loved it.

The writing was exquisite.

The MC was way too relatable.

And it was a very lighthearted, quick read

Fast paced
PLOT TWIST AFTER PLOT TWIST
Immersive

Not as “Freddy vs. Jason” as I expected.
Which for me is a good thing!

Another amazing adventure from @gradyhendrix
