This book was funny, sexy, and super enjoyable to read. I haven't laughed out loud reading a book this much in my life. This is the first book I've read by Christina Lauren, and I definitely want to read more of their work.

Johnny and Shannon's slow burn romance is absolutely everything I needed in my life. Shannon was fighting for her life in her abusive household. I was terrified reading the ending. I had to immediately start the second book. This is one of my top 3 favorite books I've ever read. I will think about the characters in this series every day of my life. I love them.

I love the characters in this book series so much that it causes me physical pain. I feel like I have gone to war with them. I am absolutely obsessed with this book and enjoyed the hell out of it. My only complaint is that I absolutely hated how much the author mentions how small Shannon is. Like girl, we get it. Shut up. Still think the book is 5⭐️!

4.5/5 - I had a fun time reading this book, but some moments in the book had me going, "that was completely stupid and unnecessary to have happen" which made me have to not make it a 5. But overall, I really enjoyed the story and had a fun time reading it. The X storyline was interesting and felt like a Law & Order episode. Loved it. I would highly recommend this book.

6 star read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one of the best books I've ever read in my life. Are there flaws in this book? Yes. Do I care? No! I related so much to this book because I, too, had an engagement end over a phone call. It hurts like hell. I understood Harriet' pain. I am convinced Emily Henry writes all her books for me personally at this point. Please read this book.
