most people enjoy vampires and romance, but if you enjoy vampires, romance, and a heavy dose of erotic horror then this might be the book for you. I feel like the need to point out that this is not really a romance book it is an erotic horror so check your tw's and be mindful of your own peace.

our vampire is deliciously unabashedly dark with his lust for blood I mean man is not afraid to make his bloody fantasies come to life he uses the tongue from a victim that he cut out to rub one out!!.

that being said it's a bit of a slow burn, with lots of blood & spice mixed together. With a gothic feel to it, including a creepy Mansion filled with past memories and flashbacks that our fmc finds herself pulled into and isn't sure why or how but she's drawn to will and the Mansion.

“Save yourself or fall. If you can’t be strong enough to grasp your life, then you haven’t changed from the woman we met all those nights ago and you might be better in death’s embrace.”
I can't even begin to accurately express the amount of obsessed that I am with this book! Circus romance is one of my newest infatuations and I never want to leave the lights of Cirque Obscurum!

“Darkness encircles you, but remember that those who hide in the light can carry just as much evil as those in the shadows.”

I loved every low and relished every win Ember went through, reading about her traumatic past and then watching her become the person she was always meant to has to be one of my favorite parts of this story. add in the super-hot and unhinged Club, Diamond, heart, and Spade and this book will have you falling into its madness with open arms.

expect murder, gore, revenge and various levels of deranged spice. I already want to do a reread and go back through and annotate a physical copy of this book!

The darkness will always come when you call.
