I’ve loved this book! 
The story was very well written and so good! 
There was romance (shadow daddy 🤭), murder mystery and a plottwist that was, at least for me, very unexpected.

I think the whole book is kinda rushed but at the same time nothing happens. If anyone would ask me what the 450 pages were about I could tell them in like 2 sentences. 
I personally don’t like Mare, I know she is just seventeen and everything but she thinks that the whole world is about her. I was so mad when she said something like that: „He is nothing in comparison to me, just a little fisher boy“ LIKE MISS GIRL!!! You were even worse that him just a few months ago 😭 didn’t even had a job… just so annoying. 
AND if I have to read the words „little lightning girl“ one more time I’m going to throw up. And I have three more books to go …. 
Like we get it, you can wield lightning. Congrats. No need to make it your whole personality next to making bad decisions and just being a pain in the ass.

I don‘t know if I will like this series. 
The book itself was pretty good!
I like the plot and also the characters but I find Mare to be a little annoying. 
My problem is that there is so much happening in this book, and that is for two reasons: 
1. you have no time to get used to one situation because than something different already happens 
2. because there is so much going on I have no idea what the other 4 books are about. We already have the special powers, the love story, the betrayal etc. what else is to happen? 

Another thing that I don’t like is actually the love story. They‘ve spent no time together and know each other for like 5 chapters and are talking about loving each other. Like no. 

I want to like this book and before I started writing this review I didn’t even realised how much of it I don’t like hahaha

I don’t know. I was really excited for this book but in the end I didn’t loved it. It felt like that at first nothing happened and then in the last 20 pages everything happened. It’s a nice story but the writing style just wasn’t for me!
