I don’t even know… this book was absolutely wild. I knew exactly how it would end from the minute it started and was still just as disappointed when the ending came. To be honest, before this book I hated both Conrad and Belly and thought they should be entirely separated.
And in this book he literally did get better when away from the company of his family and Belly!!! We all love Laurel though so of course she was the one he talked to most.
Somehow this book made me feel the opposite of before; Conrad is too good for Belly. Her and Jeremiah were honestly perfect for each other before the author made the conscious choice to change his character and make them not interact the way we had previously seen. It was frustrating to read just as it’s predecessors and I would not recommend it to anyone who isn’t an absolute hopeless romantic.

Definitely still bad but better than the first one (IN MY OPINION!!).
I definitely like Belly with Jeremiah wayy more than Conrad.

It’s hard to describe but this book really gives the reader a wholly unique experience and feeling. It’s beautifully written and executed.

I don’t completely get the hype, I mean it was fine but nothing quite as grand I as expected. I will be reading the rest of the series and seriously hope she ends up alone and not with either of the brothers in this book.

It is the worst book I have ever had to read for class and last year we read Rot & Ruin.
