no notes. fredrick backman is so talented when it comes to putting human emotions into words. he makes me feel things from the first page. i’m in awe

different concept and beautifully written. but, i didn’t like how draupadi and karna relationship was portrayed or how kunti was written as a typical unhappy saas. draupadi is showcased as an unhappy woman who would throw tantrums all the time. it’s not a retelling but a fictional perspective 

Bleh! I didn’t enjoy the book or the characters

I liked this better than the last one but it still falls in the same rating

This book has so many layers that i think i will understand as I grow up. I will probably read it every year to remind myself what matters more in life❤️
