Dark and twisty with a tiny hint of magic. Bosh.

This was pretty good, quite twisty but honestly I did get a little bit lost at times. I just didn't think it was feasible that they'd pull it off and the whole "asking for a mate" thing of the lawyer seemed a bit unlikely
.. overall though, a great page turner

This was sstrange. It gave me F Scott vibes, and the feeling of America in the 20s/30s when everything was a bit blurry and very chaotic. I found the narrative quite tricky to follow for some reason too.

This was weirdly strange. A little bit of sci fi and reminiscent of things that happened in the pandemic. It also was a bit like my octopus teacher with the whole falling in love with the octopus and the metaphor of that. Hmm curious, bizarre and strange. But also weirdly compelling.
