After much coaxing from friends and family, and since I now own a Kobo Libra Colour, I'm finally reading this manga series!

It's giving Gone Girl and I'm here for it.

Although the plot twist was predictable halfway through the book, this was still a well-written story that I would highly recommend to people who like thriller, mystery, and suspense.

I'm deducting one whole star just because "sweetie" gave me major oogies. Lol.

I didn't diligently read this (Please, StoryGraph, add the "pause" feature soon!) but whenever I picked it up, I flipped through its pages with joy.

The plot is getting even better since Morrigan is learning more and we're learning alongside her... which is so exciting! And I hope the characters continue to surprise me... even the most unlikely one of them all.

I don't know why I keep reading this when all the lights are out, but it makes the story even more creepy and fun! It's a shame the TV series didn't give justice to the source material; these books are great and we are in dire need of good horror stories on screen.

It's not that the book is bad, I just found it utterly depressing. And I only really liked Jesse and Leslie. Not even all the time, mind you.

It's been a while since I read the first book but it wasn't difficult to get up to speed. The podcasts were a nice touch to not just go through the details of the current case but also to recap on what happened before. This is definitely a treat for true crime aficionados like me.

I've watched two seasons (so far) of Bridgerton on Netflix and found them enjoyable. I decided to give the books a shot and this one is pretty much the same as the first season, just a tad bit different here and there.

Much like the TV series though, it also isn't that deep and mentally engaging — just a great way to pass time. It's a light and quick story be it on screen or on paper so, overall, I'm okay with it.

Probably my shortest book to date. Guess it's time to continue reading the Grishaverse.
