This was a really good quick read.
Back to traditional routes and survival along with some slight repeating of history.
I was very happy that it had a more happy ending.

I was expecting a little more spice ngl.
Overall the story was cute, you got the conflict and them being too dumb to say how they feel for each other. Classic oh I like him but he thinks of me as a friend on both sides.

A bit of a slow start, but the characters were pretty likable.
I was pretty confused as to what the plot exactly was for the first half of the book. There was some lacking with no real tension building besides Will just being like oh hot man. I’m horny then suddenly they are eating each others face??
Either way the ending was cute and shows promise to carry on the plot but I think I’ll pass with reading the next two books.

Nostalgia at its peak right here.
I read this book back in middle school and it still holds up.
Also being that I watched the movie and Netflix show it’s really fun to compare in how different all the characters were of each other.

Cute story.
Some of the characters were a bit annoying in my opinion. I wasn’t a big fan of Emmet. The story itself wasn’t as grabbing as I hoped it to be. There wasn’t much conflict to be solved.
The ending was cute though.

At the beginning I got the vibe it was going to be a lot similar to the secret history with a small group in the same study field, but it was much better in my opinion.
The characters were much more likable. The story flowed together so well and the ending was definitely something!

Really entertaining and informative. I never really thought about the holidays and history of it but this book definitely put me in the spirt of the season!

Really slow start. I honestly didn’t like it at all until part 2 when the story actually started in.

I will say, I called it. I so called it, the moment Maggie was introduced I thought oh she’s behind whatever this was. Has to be, the way she was so rude to her dad?? How she didn’t talk to him for 3 years then suddenly reached out. Not to mention Tammy just okay with everything because they were rich. Yeah, everyone sucked. I’m glad that at least Maggie got consequences. I really wanted Frank to adopt Abby not Tammy but oh well.

It was good, just took a while to really get into and absorb the story line.
I like these books because you learn the secrets as it goes, the only thing was I didn’t really like any of the main characters. So it was harder to cheer for a side. For a while it was like the bad guys were going to win. Still a good read.
