the main character objectifies women in an uncomfortable fashion for the reader. other than that, it’s a cute read but i think it would have been more profound if i had read it at 13 :)

the imagery in this was FANTASTIC there would be lines like “he said while waving the remote at the direction of the tv” and just little actions that made the book so much more realistic. that being said, it was more rom-comy/ cheesy than i anticipated— and for such a good writer, i expected better plot

The last quarter of the book introduces a new character out of nowhere and although it ties in at the end, I wish he was either introduced sooner or his late entrance was further explored— it just felt weird and out of place. Otherwise quite Sally Rooney like
