ugh this dragged in some areas. i would get so upset by his narrative voice that i wouldn’t want to pick it up for days… but the fact that it’s a true story and he endured what he did, truly inspiring and truly sad to see how few individuals beat the odds

woah some scenes are out of left field in my opinion, but the theme of found family and her relationship with her daughter are simultaneously heart warming and heart breaking
