This was such a disappointing read. I never understood the Delilah Bard hate but now I do, this book made me hate her.
I’ll read book two depending on the reviews, as this doesn’t give me hope.
Still love VE Schwab, just not this book.

There’s so many words I want to use to describe how much I love this book, but I can’t! Every S.T. Gibson book I’ve read is special to me, I can feel the love and care put into each story and I’m so glad I got a chance to read each one.

How do you share your thoughts on a short story that you cannot talk about fully without the risk of spoilers as anything can be?
Easy, hide it behind a spoilers tag.
The Six Deaths of the Saint is my first Alix E. Harrow book and god do I wish I could read more right this second. The writing to start was stunning, using second POV to immerse the reader and make your thoughts intwined with the Devil, to make you feel trapped in this loop of death and rebirth with no way out.
The Saint herself was such a clever twist, but also a heartbreaking one. The use of the Devils memories as a way to make her believe she’s following a Saint was amazing, as when it’s revealed that she is in fact the Saint and will always follow the same path so men can have more and more power is so fucked but so beautifully done. I want more stories like this!!!
Overall, six stars, infinity stars! This is now in my top favourite books I’ll now always thinks about and force people to read.

This was a beautiful journey to experience. The artwork was absolutely stunning and inspiring, and with that came a beautiful story with that felt precious and encouraging.
I’ll absolutely try out more of Tillie Walden, as this was perfect.

I’ve been struggling with books, and this one didn’t help. I’m glad I had a library copy as I’d be so upset picking this up and I’d force myself to finish it with no reward.

This was my first Abby Jimenez and my last.
At first I was genuinely enjoying this, loved the chemistry and the vibes but after the 47% mark I was trudging through this with difficulty.
Justin was pretty great, one of the few MMC’s I can say I liked! But he deserved better than Emma.
Emma… ow. Her mum really fucked her over for the rest of her life and it was shitty, so because of that it affected their relationship like no tomorrow! If her mum didn’t show up I would have enjoyed this more.

I can’t deal with more of this book. At first it was super interesting, but after the initial chapter it went downhill for me.
