I have to say- after a ridiculously long reading slump, this book was perfect for getting me back into the world of reading! The plot, while not completely surprising, still left me wondering what the next exciting event would be! Each challenge was engaging and the characters were so nice to build connections with! I’ll definitely be recommending this fantasy-filled book to anyone into the genre. The dragon aspect was extremely well executed. I’m very excited to read the sequel!!

Wow. That’s all I can say- I devoured this book- if I could’ve read it cover to cover in a day, I would’ve. The suspense- the plot twist- deciding who’s in the right and who is so so wrong. What a ride. As my first thriller, I have to say, I’m eager to read another. Thank you for keeping my love of books alive and well.

Edit: THE EXTRA CHAPTER- I am shaken to my core- what a twisted ending. For others reading this book, I strongly suggest you find the extra chapter available somewhere. Once again, wow. Just wow.

This is the kind of book to fly through- the one you read in a day. The one you tell yourself will be a quick read. A palette cleanser.

But it isn’t.

It’s gut-wrenching.
Thought-provoking.
Mesmerizing.

Something to forever ponder over the choices which have been made.

This book is a rollercoaster full of plot twists and potential romance with a big focus on a mystery unraveling before our very eyes. How did it really happen. Who’s innocent and who’s guilty? It’s hard to tell what to think in this intriguing and suspenseful novel.

Really great stuff! The recent single mom life, the sweet people Finlay meets along the way as well as the one’s that give off eerie vibes. Who knows what the sequel holds or what kind of futures await our beloved characters. I’m excited to read it!
