I was worried about keeping track of the unfamiliar names, but the characterisation of the rather large cast made it easy.

Some interesting side plots and twists throughout.

This was the most in depth book on screen writing as a career I’ve ever read.
Still feels extremely relevant despite its age.

Interesting and informative. I appreciated how it didn't shy away from the darker sides of the material for the sake of linking it to the programme.

This was a really great volume. I loved getting to see some different sides to the newer characters. There were plenty of hints of troubles to come, some great action, and a major mix-up to the status quo.

This collection is one step towards surrealism in a juxtaposition between humorous tone and serious subject matter sort of way.
If you like the lighter feeling and funny parts, this will be a book for you. There were moments I scoffed out loud at the humour, which is impressive for a book.

I DNF’d this book a few years ago finding it quite slow and dry, but I’ve flown through it this time and really enjoyed it.
