Double Deception by Maria Greene
2.25
I pulled this off my mom's shelves because it sounded dramatic and fun and kinda dumb. I was not disappointed.
I cannot, in good conscience, give this book a higher rating. But I can say I was surprised how much I liked the characters, even of the plot was scattered and the romance a little... off. But ultimately this book was a ton of fun with characters I liked and rooted for, so if that's the time you're looking for, this is a solid recommendation.
Not a diamond in the rough, but rather a pretty, clear rose quartz in a bin of cloudy ones.

Fun, but kinda dumb. Great for listening to when you have other things to get done, like pop-corn for the brain.
