The best book I've read in a while. I was really worried about that pizza in the content warnings but it was nowhere near as bad as the ice cream in the previous book.

Here's a whole fucking rant about how annoying this series is.

I don't know how to feel about this book because some of it is really good but it keeps being so fucking annoying.

Firstly, there's the fucking love triangle with Fortune, Collith and Laurie and it's heavily implied that there's a solid possibility of the three of them together romantically and definitely sexually but the fucking idiots never really talk about it. Fortuna doesn't even consider it. And it's really fucking annoying.

Then there's the storyline about figuring out what being a Nightmare actually means and looking for other Nightmares. BUT GIL'S RIGHT THERE AND THEY DON'T ASK HIM ANYTHING. He literally says he knows other Nightmares but Fortuna never asks about his powers or where to find the others. Then in the end Jacob reveals Nightmares are being hunted like it's a known fact that all Nightmares know but GIL NEVER MENTIONED IT???? The book totally forgets Gil ever was a Nightmare, almost forgets him entirely. Really the whole storyline about figuring out Nightmares is infuriating because the book is filled with pretty much everything else.

I don't even know what the fuck happened in this book because the storylines were more like suggestions than actually plots.

AND OLIVER?? This is the fourth fucking book where he keeps pissing me off. Or more like Fortuna being stupid is pissing me off. Because how the hell did it take her THIS LONG to realise he might be a little more than an imaginary boyfriend???? And is he a romantic interest or not? Is he going to be a real boy? (I really fucking hope not because there's enough of good looking men making eyes at Fortuna) like seriously why are so many of these characters hot men that somehow have really strong bond with Fortuna????

This series is infuriating and idk if I wanna keep reading it.
