So it’s overall a 5 star book for me but for the duet? While the epilogue in this one does point towards HEA, it’s like too many other books that end in a rush. I like Dev, Keyes’ best friend but I’m not really interested in his story even though there’s probably cameos from Keyes, his MC brothers & maybe Alec. While I didn’t think these books were a time, I do know that potentially I will never think of these characters again 🤷🏻‍♀️ that is my personal opinion. Kayden Lukakis did a fabulous job narrating these stories! Listened via Anyplay.

This duet was fantastic! I will definitely be contemplating adding it to my buy list after the New Year. Now my thoughts on this book. Mark Bailey & Eddie are two people with a few years between them & some serious heartache. I was generally intrigued by Bailey in book 1 & was happy to find that there was a book for him. I personally loved the in depth look of the 60’s & how much has understandably changed since then but also what was still present in the 90’s. Really liked that we got an inside look at baseball then, it being the only sport allowed in our house growing up. I’m pleasantly surprised by Cat Sebastian’s writing & plan to read other works of hers in the near future. Listened via Anyplay.

My first by Cat Sebastian & while I personally need to be careful of stories like this, with the angst between Andy & Nick which is never a favorite of mine was nonetheless a very well written piece. Joel Leslie is a fantastic narrator & didn’t in my opinion portray the guys badly. I plan on reading book 2 in the near future & listened via Anyplay.

Such a great duet! Both books were excellent. This book about Bellamy & his mate who we kinda learned about in the previous book. Bellamy we learned at the end of book 1 came down with the sickness taking many in Etlia. Personally, I had predilections about Bellamy & Oscar’s jokes about his wolf, but also put things together that he must have been in hiding. Well, boy isn’t that the truth! Ashwood was a wonderful adult character who like all humans have made mistakes & hurt others immensely. In this case, Ashwood is the only one who can save Bellamy from the “scarlet fever” & after much pride & prejudice on Bellamy’s part finally decides that after learning more about what happened to Ashwood when B ran away, makes the decision that by getting well he could potentially vanquish their enemy for Ashwood’s sake & for his mother’s untimely demise. Anyway, don’t want to give all the story away so I’ll leave it at that. Happy reading! Listened via Anyplay.

Listened via Anyplay. I believe this is my first book by the author & goodness I’m feeling all the emotions (in a good way). The group of individuals at the Moon Flower, including Madam Langley were fabulous. I loved how she crafted Mr. Blackburn! Such a lovely gentleman & how he saw the connection as strong as fate between Galen & Azriel (mates duh 🙄😂). So many reviews or actually all the ones I could find never bring this up, so I will! From the start, Galen is intrigued by Azriel & as time progresses through Galen’s POV in this book we learn how he feels a weird to him attraction which then morphs into a heartache or bone ache when they’re separated & only truly feels at ease once he sets eyes on Az again. Mate bond. Anyway I’m excited to read the sequel & Iggy Toma yet again was a wonderful voice for this story. 💜

Listened via Anyplay. I do enjoy MC & either regular folk or attorney/lawyer but when it’s a series I’m finding that it can take me longer to get through depending on the author & the genre the story is set in. In this case, with the storyline being contemporary I will listen to book 2 bc that will conclude Alec’s & Key’s story but I’m not sure I will listen to the remaining 2 books. I do like Kindle Alexander’s writing & my hesitancy to say I loved this book is simply that the story isn’t finished & I’m wary because the stakes are high for the 2 MCs endgame, but I did enjoy getting to know Alec & Key!

This is my first by this author & after a wonky start, I loved it. Lachlan was not understandably reticent with Joe getting to know him & while a reason was given, it didn’t feel like his truth. But by the end, it felt real when Lachlan stated that he loved Joe & would continue doing so even if Joe decided to go through with the divorce. Now I’m a sucker for a second chance & when it’s a marriage in trouble, that’s when it can get tricky & some authors can’t quite get it right. But this one hit it out of the park IMHO & I’m happy that I decided to give this a shot. Listened via Audible.

I liked the premise of this book. I knew Spencer had a sad story & Andrew, I knew just like Spencer that nothing was adding up. While it could be argued that this book ended on a cliffhanger, I would disagree mostly because Spencer & Andrew leave the tattoo shop for a meal. I’m really happy that all 4 books are out & that my library has them. Listened via Hoopla Burbank

Well, we really got more fantasy in this one with beings from another dimension, universe or whatever. Poor Alec cannot catch a break and it’s definitely great that he not only has Cronin but also their friends & new ones as well. Listened via Hoopla

Kkk! We started with Egypt & now we’ve been to Japan & China. I don’t want to spoil anything but I think I enjoyed this book more than the first one 😂 I don’t recall ever having said that before. I love Alec & Cronin as well as all the family & friends. I have to give credit where credit is due, Walker has surprised me yet again with a great start to a quartet of books & I’m absolutely loving Joel Leslie’s narration!! Listened via Hoopla Sac?
