I will say that I am glad to leave Haven Hart feeling all the stories have been told & generally well written. Now, 1 more story with 1 more enemy but also Joker’s Sin & maybe a holiday thrown in for good measure. Now, no no library has the audio for Law of Attraction so I will have to physically read it but that’s a-okay with me! Listened via Hoopla Alameda.

Really liked this quartet… but I do have a few complaints. The underlying attitude about the “bad” people in Haven Hart making it a terrible place to live?? I’m fairly certain that the author wants the reader to feel the other sides pain or whatever, but the characters never acknowledge that Black & Christopher Manos keep the balance. I felt that the author really reached for content that honestly wasn’t truly needed for these books. I honestly prefer the Haven Hart series more bc it feels more fleshed out & Joker’s Sin was a stressed afterthought. John Solo & Philip Alces did a fantastic job narrating! Oh this one was good! Matchmaker & Archer’s (book 1) best friend CJ. Two men who believed that they were straight only to realize they weren’t. Personally, irl I think everyone is not strictly hetero - yes! This is MY thought & opinion!! Anyway, they’re perfectly imperfect for each other exactly the way it ought to be. So I’ve learned that hate or enemies to lovers are not a trope I typically enjoy mostly because I hate petty behavior especially with an adult character. Anyway, there were a few chapters that I sped up the audio speed. Arsen & Kellan are relationship goals honestly. I loved how the author described & dealt with the relationship between Arsen & his dad & that there are a few glimpses of that changing. Once they got going together, they were so sweet & Arsen bless him loves deeply & hard, which took Kellan awhile to figure out but once he did, boy did cherish it. Mmm all the feels… listened via Hoopla Alameda.
