I am enjoying this series but it’s not blowing me away by any means. It’s cute and the spice is pretty good but the dialogue can be corny and sometimes the stakes feel a little silly. Also, Elsie, please tell me you understand feminism doesn’t mean swearing off men and children? It’s about equality and having a choice. You’ve made the same joke twice now and it’s just cringey. All that said, these books are decent palate cleansers and I definitely work my way through the series.

This book ripped my heart out of my chest, stomped on it and then lovingly put it back together with the upmost gentle care. I’ll never get over this book and it’s only the beginning!

I have always been a little hesitant to read cowboy romances because they feel like they would be conservative coded but this was a pleasant surprise. The stakes in the beginning were a little silly (he’s in trouble because he doesn’t drink milk?! I get it but it felt like kind of a lazy setup) and were kind of just abandoned half way through the story but I still had a good time!

Same great banter and spice JTG brings to all her books but the rest was meh. You have to suspend your disbelief quite a bit but it was a quick, fun read so I’m not mad about it.

This book had me hooked from the first page. Truly a whirlwind adventure (did this poor girl ever sleep?!) The plot is a smidge predictable if you’re a fantasy reader but I still loved it! Freya’s impulsiveness drove me nuts at points but it’s also the thing I love most about her. Cannot wait for the next book!

This book had me hooked. I binged the first 6 hours of the audiobook while on a roadtrip. It’s funny, kind of gross and full of so much heart. There were so many parallels; the rage Rory had from her childhood trauma and the rage she felt as the wolf, losing control of her body/life the same way her twin felt being pregnant. I wasn’t expecting a romance (it’s definitely a subplot, there is an HEA but I would not categorize this as a romance) but enjoyed it all the same! I definitely recommend listening to this on audio if you can the narrator did an amazing job!

I loved this so much?? I cried, I swooned, I cheered- it was amazing. I’m not surprised, I have loved every book by Kathryn Moon that I’ve read but this shot to the top of the list. So heartfelt and sweet (and so spicy without sacrificing any of the story). Cannot wait for the rest of this series!
