I was so excited for this book, the last in the series, and Emily DELIVERED. Vanessa and Enzo were so hotttt and they complemented each other so well. I wasn’t entirely sold on the relationship at the beginning, but it was a slow burn for a reason.
I’m really bummed I read book 2 first. It would have been a lot funnier had I read this one first. This book was again very funny. Frederick is such a dork and I love him. Cassie was great and I want to be her friend.
I did it again - I didn’t realize this was the second book in a series. So I’ll be reading Book 1 next.
Starting out I thought this was the most corny book I’ve ever read. It was - but it was so funny and cute. Reginald was hilarious; he made me laugh so much. This was a very lighthearted fake dating story and it was a fun ride. 📚 4/5 🌶️ 2/5
This was SO good. There’s a lot of focus on the misogyny of witch hunters. It was a romance, but that hardly seemed like the focus of the book and I kind of loved that. I did notice a really big plot hole towards the end which is taking it down half a star for me. Six week wait for book 2. I must be patient.
A friend of mine text me yesterday with a link to this book and said “I just DNFed this” so I immediately checked it out on Libby. I really enjoyed a lot of this book. I can understand her distaste for it. Ian really lets other people’s choices rule his life and feels responsible for those choices. It doesn’t entirely make sense to me. However the spice spicied and Delilah is just hilarious.
I enjoyed this one, but not quite as much as the first one. It doesn’t really get too much into Ada’s past, but what it does get into doesn’t entirely add up to the way she feels about herself and the fears put onto page. Wes is just perfect in every way, and I love him.
