Blood on the Tide by Katee Robert

Have I mentioned lately how much I love Katee Robert? They are just amazing. Sapphic pirate rebels - a vampire and her Selkie

actually kinda cute
I don’t normally read reviews before reading a book and the reviews for this one were generally not good. The story was cheesy and not the best written; but it’s monster romance - I’m not expecting the world. This was a fun quick read. It had me giggling a few times and clutching my proverbial pearls as well.

needs a tw page
I really enjoyed this one. It was, to say the least, hot af. I do think it really needs a tw page because it covered some serious shit (TWs below). Instalove - Cthulhu man with a detachable peentacle and a plus size Latina. There are some cringe moments, but the story was funny; I laughed a lot.

loved it
This was really sweet. I read Chestnut Springs before this series, so it was really exciting getting to know the younger sister of the Eaton boys. I adored this story. I didn’t always like Cole, but he grew on me in the end.

Short but sweet. If you’re a fan of Property Bro’s, you’ll like this. Similar concept, but make it black and add a little kink. It was a very quick book, which is exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t love the narrators on audio, but they grew on me. I will say it didn’t really feel like it had an ending. Hoping the second book in the duology will settle that feeling for me.

I did not expect to enjoy this one. I was just getting through it to get to book 2 (yes yes, I know I don’t have to read them together but yes I do) It was actually an alright story and it was surprisingly hot. Also a little funny.

wow
So this one had a lot more story to it than the wprevious book. HR employee accidentally triggers a mating bond with an Orc from IT and incidentally a visit to MR(Monster Resources). The “blood fever” takes over and makes them irresistible to one another. And boy is it hot.

That One Night by Emily Rath
Does it count as a separate book when it came as a combo with the audiobook for Pucking Around?
Anyway this super quick novella was hot as all get out and I can’t wait to finish the rest of the story. I had heard good things and this prequel did not disappoint. I can tell in really going to like Pucking Around. I will say I don’t love the narrators so it’s not as digestible as I’d have liked, but I can live with it.

Hoooooly shit. This was really good. Such a complex story with a LOT of super hot scenes. The ending is so GD sweet I almost cried. I kinda knew what I was getting into from the beginning but I didn’t realize how good the story would be. Listening to the second novella now; can’t wait to get to the second full book.
