Slow to start but the book was good. I was able to picture such a beautiful story and it really did translate well.
Wish it didn't focus on her entire childhood through the first part of the book. I feel like it could have been maybe 4 chapters long
but the second part was chef's kiss!!!

"Finny?", "OH Autumn" my mother says, the smallest chapter in the book and it sent me in hysterics. My heart is shattered at the thought of losing your one true love within hours of declaring your love for them. I still have a lump in my throat.

The book was overall a very sweet and nostalgic read, made me think of the way I used to be as a kid, I was very much like Autumn when I was younger, i felt like her and I was exactly like her, standing out without trying to stand out. I felt embarrassed for her with her wearing a tiara and I remembered that, that is exactly what I did, which is probably why I felt this way, she found herself in Finny and my heart just shattered at the end!!!

Ah November 9, where do I begin. This book was the most beautiful and sweet book I have ever read, the words were written so perfectly and the way I fell in love with the forward ways of both characters reminded me so much of my husband and how he would do everything he could to make sure I laugh and smile. The story was just a perfect amount of twisted and I couldn't get my eyes off of the pages! Beautifully written

Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.
It is too slow paced for me. Seems more like a filler book. Might pick it back up later

This book had me conflicted and I was doing emotional flips as I flipped through each page, it kept my eyes open and it only took me 4 days to read from cover to cover. From the plot twists to falling in love with Ryle to actually completely hating him to tolerating him, from the past love story of Atlas and his childhood played such an important part in this book, though the Elen chapters were very long and at times made my eyes heavy, it played a very necessary role as it came closer to the ending of the book. I said I wanted my heart ripped out and it was for sure towards the end. I was so conflicted as I got to the middle of the book and then as I neared the end, man oh man, my soul couldn't take anymore yet I couldn't stop reading. I do feel this book does deserve the 5 stars because it did to me what I wanted it to do, very easy to read. I'm shaking from being emotionally drained from the last few pages but overall. Brilliant book and brilliant author.

When I started this book. It really was such a heartfelt love story between 2 people that fate brought them together and then as i neared the end of the book and realized what that fate was honestly brought me to tears.
This is definatly one of the best books I have read from Colleen Hoover and it was far from predictable, ir was so soft and beautiful in the start and heartbreaking and sore towards the end but the ending itself was everything I needed and was hoping to get.
