A quick and fun cozy mystery with a hint of future romance!

This would have totally given me nightmares had I read it when I was a middle grade reader. Proceed with caution!

The caregivers who stay with the children while their parents are away are a gay couple.

Wept tears at the simple beauty of this tale.

I read a review recently that said, “You know it’s a good book if you read the acknowledgements”. Well, I read the acknowledgments. This book was a true delight— funny, charming, heartwarming, and endearing. Perfectly atmospheric for Autumn and with a good message. I will definitely be recommending this one! I read it in two days because I couldn’t put it down!

I will forever love this story. Apparently in any format.
