Creeping storytelling and downright jaw-dropping artwork that’s basically standard from Emily Carroll at this point. this was horrifyingly beautiful. A bit more abstract than I would have liked but ugh so good overall

the pacing of this was wild and moved at the speed of light. it kinda had to since there was just SO MUCH going on. i think i would’ve preferred this without so many subplots so we could focus on the main things. also i was expecting the art to be detailed like the cover but it wasn’t so that left a little to be desired as well. however, this was still a nice read and all hail Queen Salira🙂‍↕️
