My nephew recommended this book and I'm so glad he did! This was a great story, sad at times, but the message was a good one.

That ending!!

I enjoyed this and I'm glad Mal and Alina ended up together. I shipped them from the beginning. I like that the book didn't have the same racism among characters that the TV show had.

I'm so disappointed that this book was completely different from the movie. I only read this because of the fact that the movie was based off of it, but the book was nowhere near as good as the movie. I'm being gracious with 2 stars because I liked some parts, but it just wasn't what I expected at all.

I feel like I have been assigned to read this in almost every English class I've taken for my English degree.

Not what I was expecting after all the hype people made about.

I should've known this wasn't a standalone. Now I have another book to wait for.
