A little slow paced but a nice slice of life book.

Need a cozy read with a spice of D&D? This is your book!

Now horror is NOT my go to genre, but I have to say this was a short and thrilling read to wrap up my spooky season reads.

I was surprised by the use of other pronouns, but welcomed nonetheless. I really enjoyed how the main characters talked about it and how it wasn’t a big issue throughout the whole book.

Slow in the beginning but really it picked up! The main characters are full of emotions. Very lovable one moment then pissed me off the next! (In a good way)

The tension in the book felt real like the conflict was happening right in front of you. That’s what made me keep reading.

Overall, it was a well done book. Spice level was a little low (one fade to black scene) but the invisible string between the two main characters was *chefs kiss*.

One thing though… the use of the word “patio” can maybe be cut in half. It was so overused.

Interesting take on the Vampyre vs Weres concept.
Very cute fluff but I was expecting more spice and maybe a few more scenes from Lowe’s POV not just the last chapter, but that just how she writes. I can’t complain about that.

All in all, can’t wait to see what she does next! Maybe another paranormal romance.🤔

I had high hopes for this book. I knew it was going to be cute and have a little bit of spice plus the premise was so clever.

But goddamn!  We get it with the “claiming” shit! It was fine in the first half but the last few chapters,
“Say your mine!”
“I’m yours”
Over and over and over and over again! We get it!

I got a headache from trying to finish the book. Glad they got their happy ending and I might look into the second book for next Halloween.

Interesting read…fast to medium pace but in the end what was the point. Nothing was really solved and she was alway going to be stuck in this loop of eating somebody then moving. She doesn’t show much restraint or development on that part and I kind of like how the movie shows that.

I hate to say it but I think you need to read and watch the movie to understand this book as a whole.

I also couldn’t get past the eating of the actual bones. The meat is one thing but the humans bodies can’t breakdown the bone. Let alone the sensory nightmare of the crunching.🥴

Interesting story, a bit on the slow side but overall heartwarming.

I’m glad I didn’t read this book as a young teen, even now, I wished I didn’t read it. The vanity of the main characters sent me into a spiral.

The book was for book club so i wouldn’t of picked it up otherwise.

What a quick little spicy story! I love the representation of LGBTQIA+ in these books.

Another cute book but once again copy paste from her other books. If I didn’t just read “love, theoretically” I feel like I would have liked this one more.
I like reading the different characters and the different situations that they are in, but when it comes to the main male characters I feel like they are the same. I had a hard time understanding what they were saying at some points in the book.
