I loved the idea of the book but it wasn't executed in a super interesting way. I feel as though there were too many character side plots. I may read the next book to see if I would like it better. The last ten pages I did absolutely cry

I like Ana Huang's writing, but I've never been wowed by her writing, I usually don't rate her books over a 4 star and this unfortunately wasn't an exception.

I read this for a 2024 bingo prompt. Considering this book is at a middle school level, I enjoyed the topic/main idea of Greg Heffley trying to be better at school.

This book had me longing for more of the ending. I definitely would have put the book down if it were not for the main character adding a "mystery" aspect to it. Some of the religious terms had me confused at points, I will admit. If you're expecting this to be extremely religious and awkward, making you not read this book, put that aside. An intense battle between a girl and her opposing beliefs with her best friend. if this book had not been on my TBR for the month, I bet I would've never picked up this book, and I would have missed and funny, emotional, and well-written book.

I had read this book about a year ago and had not remembered a single detail, so I decided to put it back on my physical TBR. I was a little annoyed by how the romance between Sean and Bree were introduced. However, I really enjoyed the representation of bullying and anxiety. I seem to keep picking books that end in the main character
at a grave, most of the time apologizing
. This book had me bawling at times and laughing out loud at others I think all of the little cliques and character development in this book are so lovely.

It is an amazing book about love, friendship, coming of age, and grief. I read this book in one sitting, and gladfully so. As I was reading, I felt as though this book was moving so fast yet so slow simultaneously (not bad). I would have loved loved loved, if this book was more than 236 pages, although, I've been saying that very often about books lately. The book could have been extended past where it ended, I would have loved to see Marin's
choice for moving in with Mabel's family,
more on Marin's love life, college life, and work at
the pottery shop
Having said all of that, this was the most touching and tear pulling book I have read in a long time.

I loved this book and I love where the plot went, however, I feel as though it was a little predictable. The first and second books kept me guessing. I feel like the plot with Charlie Green disappeared, and the ending was absolutely terrible, the story definitely could have been expanded AND ACTUALLY ENDED.

Too many POVs!!! i would have loved this book more if there weren't 10+ different POVs. Some were not needed and made the book lose what I usually love in books. Even with that being said it was incredibly relatable since I too, have an anxiety disorder.
