Better than her other book but not my style. The ending was the best part so like last 20 pages.

Great post covid world book. Shines a light in the darkness of that period of fear and disease. Would definitely use for an English class to teach. Loved it. Had to try reading it again because first time was too triggering for me.

The dragons are the best part. Otherwise the main character is a Jane doe who gets everything plus more. The book was growing on me at the end. Then it switches to Xedan's perspective and I went oh :(. I wish I got more dragons and less boys.

It was such a unique reading experience and yet I was transported right there. It gave stand by me energy and I loved it a lot I'm shocked by how much I did.

Sone stories are stellar some aren't. Averages out to a 3. I enjoyed the South and Central America subjects. My favorite short story was "Where are you Dear Heart" and "Kids who come back" and "the dangers of smoking in bed" which is the shortest. Rest are meh or bad.

It's have 5 stars if the first part wasn't so unyielding. I loved this book and felt so much from it. I can't wait to buy my copy!
