The first half was very well done, a story that captured my attention and characters that were complex enough, but the second half felt a bit haphazardly done somehow.  It wasn't that I didn't agree with the ending, it was actually an interesting way to end consid ring the main character's flawed interactions with the supporting characters, but it felt a bit disjointed somehow, it didn't flow in quite the right way. Overall it was enjo able enough I'd read more from this author.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.
It is well written so far, interesting story, important, I'd truly like to pick it up again at some point, but for right now it is a little too much for me and it is due back to the library with several months wait before I get it back.

I really loved this book. A great middlegrade sci-fi, mildly creepy mood throughout.
