The book itself is super interesting. It’s intriguing to see the lives of women born in captivity growing up. The narrator also had a great voice that helped bring along the story. I enjoyed listening in my car to and from work.

The content of the writing and story is absolutely amazing. The opening scene had me hooked right away and the rest of the book did not disappoint. The narration of this book is perfect. I loved how it had me in the characters footsteps. It’s beautifully written. The insight on the native community is also fascinating and important.

This book is the perfect mix of fantasy and cozy. I love that it has minimal world building which makes it easy to digest. The characters are interesting and unique. I really enjoyed this book. It’s definitely a new comfort read for me.

This book was super fascinating and the kind of story I liked to listen to when I was in elementary school. I love the idea of sisterhood. It really made me think of my own connection with my sister and how far I’d go for her. It’s also cool to see a neurodivergent character like Lizzie. This story managed to be creepy, whimsical, and like an old fairy tale in all the right ways. I absolutely loved it.
