The Queen's Assassin by Melissa de la Cruz
The plot twist that she is the queens daughter is very unnecessary and didn’t have to be added . The ending was mediocre and I feel like it could have been better. The character development in this book was extremely rushed changing their feelings immediately after the first two chapters especially in Caledon’s point of views. I have lowered expectations for the second book but who knows maybe it’ll impress me. Maybe if I think more about it my opinion will change but for now 2 stars.
