LOOOOOOONG!!!! But as a Washington State native, many of the stories were fascinating. I learned a lot! At a certain point the stories felt repetative, could have been maybe a fourth shorter and gotten the point across even better.

Rex Ogle is a gift and my favorite author, his stories continue to inspire. It would help to have read his previous work before this one to have context, as this story starts after the events of Punching Bag and Free Lunch.

Respectfully, what was this? Terribly mis-marketed. If the author wanted to write a memoir, they could have just done that, they seem to have a very interesting story to tell, but without the anecdotes of hosting.

Somehow the most mature and immature main character ever. Some unbelievable elements to the story. I liked the camp setting, a great read for the summer.

As an Olympia resident, I loved the stories of the city from the grunge era. Hanna's storytelling is honest and raw.

What a wonderful time spent reading this book! I learned a lot about less traveled to countries, I especially appreciated the focus on African countries, and the reassurance that people in this world are good. Very inspiring! Planning my next international trip now.
