Did not finish book. Stopped at 31%.
I simply do not care about these characters to continue, and I LOVE books set in a reality TV competition!

Some lovely and heartwarming stories. A lot of the focus is on how work impacts happiness, which I think could be a universal message. In short: cats solve all our problems!

Well fleshed out characters, but there was a lot going on but somehow nothing at all.

A raw and honest depiction of middle school life and the changes that come with it! There was such care taken with the multitude of subjects discussed; puberty, bullying, friendship, poverty, generational trauma, etc. I am always highly impressed with Rex Ogle's work.

Another wonderful installment in this series. Love the new cat character! I wish the series lived more in the present, instead of through flashbacks. I understand they're important for character development, but I wanna see what's going on in the present!

I thought there would be more to this, but the title truly is what the story is. Great illustration, the author managed to fit a lot of well rounded characters in a short amount of time.

MUCH better than I expected, I haven't read from this series in many years but was immediately brought back into the world of Scythe. Like with any short story collection, some were better than others, but I still had a good time. :)

Too short to fully lock into the characters but still super sweet for a middle grade audience!
