I hate this book with the fires of a thousand suns. Bella can’t decide the sparkly red flag or the hairy red flag. She manages to gaslight herself in to thinking everything is her fault, and honestly I’m ok with her feeling that way. She deserves it for being a shitty person. Also the weird save your virtue to get into heaven stuff? No thank you.

It was fine. The “twist” was very predictable and it was way too insta lovey for me. Her internal thoughts were repetitive. We get it, he’s hot.

I liked the characters and the story line. This would make a good rom com.

This was a cute. It did give suspension bridge effect vibes. I think I would've liked it more if I had more about the characters before this story, but that defeats the point of a novella. I'll have to check out other books by this author.

The concept was cute. I did find the FMC a little annoying and some of the dialogue was cringey. Not my cup of tea, or toilet bowl of salt water, but I think other people would enjoy it.

Absolutely adorable. I am a sucker for anything that involves pen pals, bonus points if it's anonymous. I was giggling and kicking my feet.

Reading this for the first time in my 30s definitely gives me a different perspective than reading it first as a teen. But omg I can't stand Bella. She is the absolute worst friend. We knew that in the last book, but this book just emphasized how much she only cares about herself and not how what she does impacts anyone else. And her poor father. #teamcharlie

I liked that the defendant’s name was never mentioned. The focus shouldn’t be on them, and as a society we’re really good at turning murderers into celebrities.
