Abby does it again! She knows how to write such beautiful stories with characters that are relatable and likable.
I love that her stories have strong characters, especially the female characters, even when those characters don't see their own strength. Emma has not had an easy life with a mom that is neglectful and practically nonexistent, which has made her scared to put down roots anywhere. Justin has his own troubles with his mom going to jail and him taking over guardianship of his siblings. However, they both have a "curse" where whenever they break up with someone, that person immediately finds their soul mate. The are supposed to date "Just for the Summer" but soon fall in love.
This story was beautifully and sensitively written and touched on some difficult to discuss topics. I love a story that can touch my emotions and make me feel them all, and that is exactly what this story did.

I read this book on a recommendation from a friend, and enjoyed it. The story gave "Night at the Museum" vibes entwined with a mystery.
