This was a great read about 2 women that are worlds apart and loved how it was connected. The subject is heavy but the writing is done well and kept me intrigued and vested.
Until I'm Yours by Kennedy Ryan
I am going to say this book is Bennett adjacent. Sofie was a family friend and always believed to be married to Bennett son. She's beautiful, a model, and was portrayed as a villain in the series.
It was interesting to get her redemption story and to know what she's been through. I love Trevor and how good he was. Their love story is a slow burn and Kennedy Ryan's writing is always so good.

Living in SoCal and only 15 min away from Laguna Beach, this book grabbed my attention. The historical fiction is set post war when women are struggling to find work as men are back from the war. Hazel moved to California looking for a job and ends up working as a model for Hanson Radcliff.
The story is about Hazel's ability to make it out in California and how by working with Radcliff, she finds herself and creates new friendships.
The added element of mystery and romance added so much to the story too.
Thank you @stmartinspress for a copy of this book.

Sally Brady's Italian Adventure by Christina Lynch
This was such a fun take on a historical fiction set in WWII. Sally convinces a Hollywood actress to take her in and is adopted in the lifestyle of Hollywood while working as a gossip columnist.
Sally ends up stranded in Italy during wartime with a fake passport and must figure out how to survive and make her way back home. The story is entertaining and the writing so witty and full of humor. I adored Sally and all her adventures.

I don't really read too many historical mysteries and I liked the setting of this in old glamour of Hollywood with the Chow sisters.
I appreciate that each of the sister had a distinctive personality so I didn't get confused in the story. The sisters were so persistent with finding out the death of Lulu. The aspect of making it in Hollywood was also interesting.
Jennie Kwan and Eunice Wong did a wonderful job with narration and kept me entertained and engaged.

The Accidental Dating Experiment by Lauren Blakely
This was a fun rom com with the perfect amount of banter and steam. Read this if you enjoy small town, forced proximity and best friend's sister. I love that grump sunshine and the frienemies to lovers in this story.
The duet narration by Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan, made the story so fun.

Shelterwood by Lisa Wingate
Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this book.
Told in dual timeline with 1909 with Ollie and Nessa running away to runaway to escape their life and into the mountains of Oklahoma. The other time like is set in 1990 with Valerie, a park ranger that discovers a long ago burial site and starts investigating.
Both of the timeline kept me interested. Ollie and Nessa was so resilient and met some other children along the way and helped each other.
I appreciate how much research was done for the story and how Wingate tied the two timelines together.
The story is told by Christine Lakin, Dan Bittner and Jenna Lamia and they all did a great job with the narration.

I know that Ali Hazelwood writes steamy romances but this on takes the cake! Rue and Eli are so good together. I love that Hazelwood always have women in STEM and that Rue is the grump in the story. As a sucker for forbidden romance, this was right up my alley.
Callie Dalton and Jason Clarke did a such a great job with the narration and bringing out all the emotions.

As a sucker for books about books, this one was right up my alley. Emily leaves the states and moves to Ireland to help her idol author, write her final book. Emily meets Kieran, the author's son, and complications ensues. Kieran is a major grump and makes Emily's time in Ireland miserable until the walls starts breaking down.
The story is well written and Brittany Pressley did a fantastic job with the narration.
