This book didn't capture me- or rather, I didn't care for the tone which felt white and privileged. Referred to the US as "America" and other minor irritations that made me feel he just didn't really have a broad world view. He also is admittedly euro-centric in his travels, and it makes it feel like every travel needs to be some big specific act, which I dont jive with. It just wasn't my thing.
