I am an avid Elle Kennedy stan but this book knocked everything else I’ve read by her out of the park. Garrett Graham who? I am all about Ryan Wesley and James Canning from here on out. I can’t think of a MM couple less toxic than those two. I love me a messy couple but this book didn’t need it and I was in love.
I don’t usually go for the friends to lovers trope, but this was a beautiful exception. My baby Wes was down bad for his bestie for nine years, like, how cute is that? And he was so patient and understanding while Jamie was figuring things out. Literally a perfect boyfriend and best friend wrapped up into one package.
Am I going to read the rest of the books in this series? Hell yeah. I’ll read anything about Wes and Jamie. I never want to say goodbye to them.
