“Ah, the casual Tuesday existential dread.”
“I should know better than to make a deal with a demon.”
“A demon, a witch, and a god. What could go wrong?”
“If my day wasn’t bad enough, I’m now being felt up by a rotting hand.”
“Beg for it. Beg for the sinner and the saint.”
This is one of the funniest books I’ve read in a while. There were some parts that started as more serious, but switched to funny in a heartbeat.
I enjoyed the dysfunctional dynamics and the funny banter between the FMC, Freya, and the 3 MMCs Adder, Phrixius, and Sha. And the spice was definitely spicing!
I liked how Freya ended up kind of picking the strays and introducing new MMCs to the story in that way. The MMCs had different characteristics but also shared some similarities, and they worked well together. Adder is probably my favorite and I would happily make a deal with him any day.
I liked how there were more details revealed about Freya throughout the book. She started as a shunned witch with some darkness in her but ended up being so much more towards the end.
Great book for anyone who enjoys lighthearted, but slightly dark RH monster romance with lots of humor.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
