I am in love with L.M. Montgomery’s style of writing. The way she describes every season and every bit of nature makes me want to go outside and bask in its glory. I loved reading through more of Anne’s life and all about her journey in school. You can’t help but love all of the other characters as well!
Patty’s Place was such a fun home to read about! Also, Anne denying her love for Gilbert for this entire book was incredibly funny and stressful at the same time. I kept wanting to yell at her, “you love the man! Go after him! Not stupid Royal Gardner!!” But the scene at the end of the book where she finally admits her love and they get engaged killed me with how wonderful and romantic it was!! I’m so glad it finally happened!!
